Data Collection

When you choose to sign in with Google, we collect only the following information:

• Profile Name
• Email Address

This information is used solely for sign-in and profile display purposes. When you sign in, your name and email are stored securely in our Firebase service to recognise you across app sessions. We do not access or store your Google profile picture. We do not access any other data from your Google account.

Data Usage

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used (such as how often it is opened and basic device information) so we can improve the app and its features. This analytics data does not include your customer records, orders, measurements, credits, or any other business data you enter — that data stays on your device. We do not use your personal data for promotional purposes.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone. Your business data (customers, orders, measurements, credits, and images) stays on your device.

We share only the minimum data needed with the following service providers:

• Google Drive: Stores your backup when you choose to use cloud backup
• Google AdMob: Receives device and advertising information to display ads
• Firebase (Google): Stores your sign-in name and email and collects anonymous usage analytics

These services have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their data practices.

Data Deletion Policy

You can delete your data at any time:

• Via App: You can delete individual customers, orders, credits, and collections directly from the app.
• Via Google Drive: If you have backed up data to Google Drive, you can delete it directly from your Google Drive account.
• Complete Deletion: Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored data from your device.
• Firebase Account Data: The sign-in name and email stored in Firebase can be deleted by emailing us at alitailorapp@gmail.com.

Security

We take the following measures to protect your data:

• Your data is stored locally on your device
• We use Room Database for local storage
• Google Drive backups are stored on Google's secure servers
• We do not share your data with any third parties

Children's Privacy

This app is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Payments

All payments for subscriptions and in-app purchases are securely processed through Google Play Store. We do not store any payment information on our servers.

Advertising

This app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements in the following formats:

• Native ads
• Banner ads
• App open ads (shown when you open the app)
• Rewarded ads (watched voluntarily to unlock optional actions such as saving or sharing PDFs)

AdMob may collect the following information:

• Advertising ID (a device identifier used for advertising)
• Device type (mobile/tablet)
• Operating system version
• Number of interactions with advertisements
• Duration of time spent viewing advertisements

This information is used to serve and measure ads. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings.

Local Data Storage

All your customer records, orders, measurements, credits, and images are stored locally on your device using a secure database. Your business data is not uploaded to any server, except when: (1) you choose to use the Google Drive backup feature, or (2) you sign in with Google, in which case your name and email are stored in Firebase for authentication (see Section 1).

App Permissions

Ali Tailor requests only the following minimal permissions:

• Notifications: Used to send you timely reminders related to:
  • Orders that are overdue or approaching their delivery date
  • Backup reminders to help you keep your data safe
  No promotional or marketing notifications are sent.
• Internet: Used only for:
  • Google Drive backup and restore (if you choose to enable it)
  • Displaying advertisements through Google AdMob
• Google Account (Cloud Backup): Used only when you choose to sign in with Google for cloud backup and restore. In Android this permission is listed under the "Contacts" permission group (GET_ACCOUNTS). Ali Tailor does not read, store, or transmit your device contacts or any other account data — it only lets you choose which Google account to use for backup.

Ali Tailor does not request or use the following permissions: Storage / File Access, Location, Microphone, SMS or Phone.

All data remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to back up to Google Drive.

Data Retention

• Your data remains on your device until you uninstall the app
• Google Drive backups remain in your own Google account — we do not delete them
• Sign-in information exists only while the app is active
• Uninstalling the app automatically removes all locally stored data

Your Rights

You have the following rights:

• Access: You can view your data at any time
• Correction: You can correct any inaccurate data
• Deletion: You can permanently delete your data
• Export: You can export your data

All these rights are provided to you within the app itself.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy. Important changes will be notified within the app.
